The Hard Long Drill from the Toglon® Hard Series, designed for high hardness applications, can process hardened steel with a hardness of HRC 40 to 72. It achieves through-hole processing of 20D or more in hardened steel. It boasts excellent roundness, cylindricity, and surface roughness, with precision of H7 or better. Hole processing for mold ejector pins can also be done in one shot without a pilot hole. This reduction in processes allows for shorter delivery times. In addition to standard products up to 20D, drills for deeper holes can also be manufactured. The material is ultra-hard alloy, which excels in oxidation resistance, wear resistance, and heat resistance, making it ideal for high-speed machining. The surface treatment ALT coating offers excellent heat resistance, oxidation resistance, and lubricity, providing stable high-temperature hardness.
